Work in Progress Image 3---another section of the Wall Shelf

I tackled another section of the wall shelf today. Painting that racoon was so very much fun! Below you can see what it looks like with the section from yesterday.

love to see the works in progress, too, as this helps me out as a growing artist. i tend to push myself to "get done" w/ a project, too. plus it helps to see the methods that another artist uses in creating their finished product. thanks for sharing and keep us updated!

Delightful, Jamie, and I'm glad you've come to terms with your work and celebrating what you are. It's fun to see THAT, not something you felt forced on...

Fun to watch the progress- I was hoping you'd be tackling the challenge when I had a look at the scavenger list.

Hi Jamie, This is so wonderful!! It's so helpful for me to see how other artists "do what they do" in progress.
I love that shelf... I've been searching for an old window pane (glass intact) to put light behind and paint a still life with the light showing on it. Cecile Baird has done this so beautifully in colored pencils!! (got that cool idea from her!)
And how lucky for you to have a dedicated studio!! Right now I'm working on a small art table at the end of my bed. I'm itching to get back to oils, but not until I have a better-ventilated spot!
I'm really looking forward to seeing this painting as it further progresses!
Cheers!
Sherri
